DESCRIPTION:An introduction to the topic of suicide. The training will discuss current trends\, how to talk about suicide\, what to look for\, and prevention approaches.\n\n\n\nPresenters: Jason Relle\, LCPC & Meghan Cook\, MS\, LSW\, CADC\n\n \n\nJason Relle has been with Rosecrance since 2011. He oversees substance abuse and behavioral health residential programming for adolescents. He is a licensed clinical professional counselor that has worked with children\, adolescents\, and families in various roles within Rosecrance. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Miami University and his master's degree in marriage and family therapy from the Adler School of Professional Psychology.\n\n \n\nMeghan Cook is currently the Access Coordinator for adolescent services at the Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus. She oversees the admissions department\, supervising the Access Counselors who assess and admit adolescents into behavioral health treatment.  Meghan has more than 19 years of supervisory and direct care experience in social services.  She has worked with adolescents and families in the child welfare system\, adults with chronic mental illness\, developmental disabilities\, and substance abuse issues.  Meghan has a M.S. in Applied Family and Child Studies from Northern Illinois University\, and a B.S.W. Bradley University.  She is a Licensed Social Worker as well as a Certified Alcohol and Other Drugs Counselor (CADC).  Meghan is the Vice President of the DeKalb County Community Mental Health Board.
