After graduation\, he served in the Marine Corps as an infantry officer for 21 years commanding a battalion of 1200 people before retiring.  After retiring from the Marines\, he transitioned into project management with Siemens and subsequently held positions as a field sales engineer\, manager and director\, leading teams of project managers and engineers.
