Wisconsin Avenue (Across from Shorehaven)\n\n \n\nAppointments are encouraged.  Refreshments are provided.\n\n All types are encouraged but the center says type O negative blood donors are especially needed.  O negative is a universal blood type capable of being given to anyone in emergency situations.\n\n \n\nBloodCenter of Wisconsin requests that anyone 17 or older and in good health donate blood. Parental consent is required for 16 year olds.  The procedure takes about an hour to complete. Donors are required to bring a photo ID that includes a birthday.
