An examination of concerning behaviors frequently exhibited by individuals on a pathway towards mass violence, and strategies and approaches schools and families can use to assist students experiencing difficulty.
Presenter: Glenn Rehberg
Glenn Rehberg is the Deputy Director of the DOJ Office of School Safety. He previously served in the Training Standards Bureau where his work focused on active shooters, use of force, scenario training, workplace violence, and critical incident command. He's thrilled to now work with schools to prevent violence before it occurs. He teaches active shooter response to law enforcement officers in conjunction with the FBI and still works as a part-time patrol officer. Before joining law enforcement Rehberg was a middle school band director. He is married to an elementary school teacher and his ten and eleven-year-old children attend public school.
