History as Art II

Description

In collaboration with Oconomowoc High School, we are proud to present "History as Art II." By combining the artistic talents of Oconomowoc High School students with the rich historical resources of the Oconomowoc Historical Society, this project blends history and artistic interpretation into compelling works of art. Creations are now on display in the museum next to their object(s) of inspiration beginning. Each piece includes a brief statement explaining its inspiration and what it means to the artist. Museum visitors are encouraged to vote for what they like best in various categories during our regular open hours. An awards reception will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 11. This reception is free and open to the public.
