Description
City of Oconomowoc HomeTown Celebration Presented by Bank Five Nine.
The City officially turned 150 on January 16, 2025. As we look back on the last 150 years of progress and achievements, we are celebrating!
- 11am - Mayor Magnus will bury a time capsule in John and Lavinia Rockwell Park
- 12pm - Lake Country Dockhounds take on the Cleburne Railroaders. What better way to celebrate Independence Day than enjoying America's favorite past time? Catch the game before the evening's festivities.
- 5pm - The Oconomowoc Rotary Club hosts the Independence Day Parade. This year the parade route will change stepping off at West Wisconsin Avenue and Concord Road. It will continue east through downtown ending at the Oconomowoc Police Station. This is planned in anticipation of a military flyover during the parade. More entertainment is planned as well. Stay tuned for updates.
- 6pm - Immediately following the parade a car show is planned downtown. More details to be shared as plans develop.
- 7-9pm - Music in John and Lavinia Rockwell Park. Catch some tunes, and find your spot for the fireworks show!
- 9pm/dark - Independence Day Fireworks Display. Two displays will be choreographed over Fowler Lake and Lac La Belle. This will be a not-to-miss show. Make plans to find the perfect spot to view this spectacular double display.
