Memorial Day Remembrance
Description
Oconomowoc's traditional Memorial Day Remembrance.
The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. at the band shell and will feature music by the Oconomowoc American Legion Band, a guest speaker and military salutes and honors to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
The program will continue with a parade east on Wisconsin Ave through downtown, to Walnut Street and Oakwood Avenue, stopping on the bridge on North Oakwood Avenue for a ceremonial throwing of the wreath. The parade will continue to the La Belle Cemetery, 700 East Grove Street, for military tributes.
