This paid internship is posted for the Summer of 2024, estimated start date would be on or shortly after May 1, 2024.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Type and process new loans and renewals.
  • Maintain financial statement files.
  • File recorded documents and insurance information.
  • Participation Loans – sending/receiving payments and loan advances.
  • Review loan documents and loans posted to loan system.
  • Balance of daily GL loan accounts; review and mail loan notifications
  • Close out paid loan files.
  • Assist with Business Online Banking setup and customer inquires

Qualifications - Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: (Competencies)

  • Excellent organizational skills; good verbal and written communication skills.    
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Gulf Pak Loans and Census Traks Plus HMDA loan, Bank Manager software preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent math skills
  • Handle confidential records as needed for the department.

 Education, Experience or Equivalent:  High School diploma or equivalent. 1 -2 years banking and/or loan experience preferred.
