Three Pillars Senior Living Communities, located in Dousman, WI, is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON.) This position is Full Time, working Monday-Friday. We seek caring team members willing and able to commit to our workplace values: Respect, Commitment, Fulfillment, Empathy and Fun!

The Director of Nursing (DON) supports our mission and values by assuming responsibility for planning, organizing and directing the overall operations of Nursing & Resident medical services at Three Pillars.

What will I do in this role?

  • Ensure compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all of the residents ranging from Assisted Living, CBRF, Memory Care, Rehab Services and Long Term care.
  • Exercises overall supervision of resident assessments and care plans.
  • Responsible for the monitoring and development of the campus Transitional Services Model.
  • Assures competency of all nursing personnel.
  • Assist in formulating the budget and maintaining an efficient and effective departmental operations.
  • Maintain compliance with all state, federal and local regulations laws, standard and protocols.
  • Participates in daily and weekly management team meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel, or resident complaints or concerns.
  • Work to maintain a culture of shared accountability, leadership and compassionate patient care.

What is required in this position?

  • Associates degree in Nursing required. Master's Degree, in related specialty of Healthcare preferred.
  • Current valid Registered Nurse license through State of Wisconsin, current BLS (CPR) Certification.
  • A minimum of 5 - 10 years at a management level in a long-term care or rehabilitation facility.
  • Prior experience functioning as a DON and/or at the Executive level is preferred
  • Wound Care Certified preferred.
  • Microsoft office and experience with nursing documentation software.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state and local standards and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
