MEMBER MONDAY: WAUKESHA STATE BANK
Waukesha State Bank is one of the largest locally owned, independent banks in the State of Wisconsin. Since our modest beginning in 1944, we have been serving the financial needs of the community with a personalized, one-on-one approach to banking, and an emphasis on customer service and community involvement. Waukesha State Bank has full-service offices located throughout Waukesha County, and opened our Oconomowoc branch in 2004. https://www.waukeshabank.com/oconomowoc-office
What do you enjoy most about what you do?
Waukesha State Bank is built on the mission of serving the community. We believe in investing in our communities through loans to businesses and consumers, through sponsorships and donations that emphasize human needs and education, and through volunteering. We strive to do an outstanding job of improving and investing in the communities in which we do business.
How has your business responded to COVID-19?
As of July 1, we closed nearly 1,600 U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans funding over $164 million for local small businesses. "Helping small businesses in our community navigate through this unprecedented time and apply for much needed assistance was a top priority for Waukesha State Bank," stated Ty R. Taylor, Waukesha State Bank President & CEO. "I'm proud that we were able to disburse loans to our community as fast as possible."
