Mike Targos grew up in the Chicago land area and attended Marquette University where he graduating with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1992. After graduation, he served in the Marine Corps as an infantry officer for 21 years commanding a battalion of 1200 people before retiring. After retiring from the Marines, he transitioned into project management with Siemens and subsequently held positions as a field sales engineer, manager and director, leading teams of project managers and engineers.
