Description
Networking Is Your Nervous System: The Science and Strategy of Connection
Speaker: Jeremy Fojut, Chief Revenue Officer, MARS Solutions Group
Overview: This is a high-impact, 1-hour session that blends storytelling, brain science, live audience interaction, and career strategy to reframe how we think about professional connection. Attendees won’t just learn why networking matters they’ll experience it. Jeremy uses the nervous system as a metaphor to explain how networks function as real-time systems of opportunity, support, and adaptation.
Participants will:
- Hear the powerful true story of a mountain village that survived a deadly winter by relying on its relationships
- Learn the neuroscience of connection (including how relationships rewire our brains)
- Explore five groundbreaking studies that link strong networks to performance, resilience, and health
- Participate in live demos, including a whisper-chain activity and a connection mapping exercise
- Walk away with a simple, repeatable weekly networking habit (the 3:1:1 Jam) they can use immediately
What attendees walk away with:
- A new mindset: why your network is infrastructure, not a nice-to-have
- Real science: how connection improves performance, survival, and opportunity
- Tools: the 3:1:1 Jam habit for building trust and staying visible
- Reflection: who’s in your network and who’s missing?
- Action: what to do this week to build stronger connections
- 1-hour interactive keynote or workshop
- Includes storytelling, neuroscience, peer activities, reflection, and live demonstrations
- "A resume gets you seen. A relationship gets you remembered."
- "Your next opportunity is probably hiding in someone you barely know."
- "You’re not just building a contact list. You’re building career insurance."
- "Networking isn’t optional. It’s your future’s nervous system."
