Day of Service - an Oconomowoc High School and Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce Collaboration
Project: Care Packages for Troops and Veterans
We will be visited by some local veterans to learn about needs in our community as well as for active service members throughout the world. We will be collecting donated items and filling care packages for troops and writing letters of support and encouragement to both active service members and veterans.
Needs:
- Monetary donations to purchase items that will be sent to veterans
- Volunteers to assist in letter writing and packaging on the day of the project
- Veterans to visit as guest speakers
