The Heart of Okauchee: A Fundraising ...
Description
The Oconomowoc Area Historical Society & Museum is excited to announce its annual fundraising gala, scheduled for October 1. As both the museum's largest fundraiser of the year and its most significant community outreach event, the gala plays a vital role in supporting its daily operations and continued growth. Held at Weissgerber's Golden Mast Inn, this year's event, "The Heart of Okauchee," will explore the rich history of Okauchee through a special presentation by longtime historical society members and local historians Barb Elwood-Goetsch and Jolayne Lindberg. Against the backdrop of the museum's centennial year, guests will also enjoy a special display of artifacts showcasing both a century of collecting and the history of Okauchee. This event is brought to you in part by Major Sponsor Bank Five Nine. Timeline for the evening: Cocktails: 5:00 (cash bar) Dinner: 6:30 Presentation followed by a live auction: 7:15 Dinner: Each attendee will be served the Gourmet Combination which includes chicken breast and sliced tenderloin with fresh bakery basket, house garden salad, vegetable and starch, beverage (coffee-tea-milk), and chef’s house dessert. If gluten free or vegan meals (eggplant ravioli) are needed, please indicate the number when purchasing tickets.
