This paid internship is posted for the Summer of 2025, estimated start date would be May 1, 2025.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Marketing Director in the preparation of materials, and provide marketing and administrative support of Bank departments, programs, and initiatives.
  • Provide assistance with the preparation of promotional materials, maintaining stock, and delivering of such materials for Branch promotion administration.
  • Provide support in processing mailings, and assistance in writing correspondence for ad-hoc, serial and in-branch mailing programs.
  • Provide assistance in designing and writing of direct mail pieces, email marketing content, brochures, and other collateral as needed.
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of website and social media content.
  • Assist with coordination of bank events, working with branch managers and employee volunteers (grand openings, ribbon cuttings, parades, cookouts, school events, etc)
  • Performs and assists with other marketing and administrative related duties and special projects and events as required.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: (Competencies)

  • Ability to think both creatively and analytically.
  • Must show an aptitude to learn and work with databases.
  • Must possess proven and polished writing skills; organizational skills; and communications skills.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail; and possess and demonstrate excellent proofreading and writing abilities.
  • Must be able to interact professionally with all levels of Bank Management and Directors.
  • Must exhibit an understanding of, and compliance with, applicable federal and state banking laws and regulations.

Level of Education, Experience or Equivalent:  Current student enrolled in a Marketing program or related field.  Knowledge of Banking industry preferred, but not required.
